Junior Optimist Club
ABOUT US

Our goal as a group is to help out the community in diverse ways. Such as volunteering in community settings, fundraising and participating in local events. Our fundraising consists of anything that the group decides upon, come join the fun and find out more on our Instagram!
Some examples of projects are: Breakfast with Champions fundraiser for Special Olympics Waterloo Region, bottle drives, youth nights, community activities such as fireworks, plunger plops, bike rodeos, movie nights, etc.
Here at the Waterloo Region Junior Optimist Club it is our goal to bring as much "JOI" to our community as possible! If you know of an area in our community that is in need, please let us know!
Each Junior Optimist Club elects a board of directors at the start of every Optimist year. Our board is filled with members who are dedicated to the smooth operation and growth of our club. All of our current board members played a vital role in chartering the club in September 2023!
